During the Sui and Tang dynasties, the first head, Vermilion Bird, entered the mortal realm and passed his sword techniques to Li Shimin. Thereafter, the Tang royal house revered the school as imperial mentors through generations.

In the Tianbao era, the Phoenix School emerged with unmatched brilliance. They poured all their strength into sealing away the Blood Parrot, and in doing so fell into a long slumber. Ages passed—kingdoms rose and fell; Cloud City reopened, meteors descended, and the cracks of time and space widened. Amidst these upheavals, the disciples of Phoenix finally broke free from the barriers of space and returned to the human world.

Wielding their single-edged swords, the disciples fight with speed and ferocity, balancing offense and defense. They can also summon the power of the phoenix, transforming into a phoenix spirit form to unleash unparalleled sword techniques that overwhelm their foes.
